Siirtolapuutarha

This heavyweight cotton fabric features the Siirtolapuutarha pattern, which is printed in Helsinki.

This fabric is printed with natural indigo, a plant-based dye extracted from Finnish woad. The color will naturally soften with washing, use, and light. 25% of the cotton used in the product is recycled and 25% of the cotton used in the product is organic.

Maija Louekari’s Siirtolapuutarha (city garden) is a brilliant line drawing which tells a tale of a journey from a bustling city center to an allotment garden overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
