Kraftmo

The Kraftmo pattern on this unbleached, heavyweight organic cotton fabric is printed in Helsinki with a natural bio-based dye.

This product is printed with Nature Coatings BioBlack TX pigment derived from post-industrial FSC-certified wood waste. The color will naturally soften with washing, use, and light.

Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibers, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.

Petra Börner is often drawn to natural themes in her work, exploring varied techniques with passionate lines that tie her compositions together. The dynamic Kraftmo pattern, part of her ongoing POWERFLOWER series, was created with black ink on paper. The title of this abstract floral motif reflects the positive energy the pattern embodies, where 'kraft' signifies power and 'mo' is old Swedish for heath or plain.
