Tasaraita Oversized

The Oversized t-shirt dress is made of cotton jersey with an oversized fit. The dress features the Tasaraita pattern, the small Unikko flower, which is printed in the front, and a ribbed O-neck.

When jeans started to become increasingly popular among both women and men, Annika Rimala wanted to design a collection of cotton jersey clothes to go with jeans. For all denim lovers, regardless of age, size or gender. That’s how Marimekko’s first cotton jersey collection was born. Evenly striped, expressing equality.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
