DetailThe Kitti coat is made of water-repellent, bonded fabric and it has a relaxed, A-line fit. The outer layer of the bonded fabric is made of organic cotton, and the inner layer is of a cotton blend. The coat features the Unikko pattern and a collar with a throat latch that can be attached with snap buttons. The coat has a metal zipper under the front list and large patch pockets with flaps in the front. The wide sleeve ends can be tightened with snap buttoned tabs.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.SIZE & FIT

In dresses and tops, relaxed fit at chest level and at body overall. Shoulder line is dropped. In bottom pieces, relaxed fit on waist and hip, often elasticated waistline. Compared to slim fit, relaxed fit has more designed ease between body and garment.
